COLLABORATIVE ART: HANGING THREADS
Collaborating with a diverse group of 20 international creatives and researchers across a range of ages and genders, to co-create a textile workshop in 2024. Sharing darning needles, threads and materials, the group sewed and embroidered a comforting blanket made of recycled material while talking about research into gender politics in fabric art. The final piece was hung in a public space.
